Custard is a video-essay capturing the brief, transitory moments when a structure has served its purpose and is able to break.
It is a reckoning with the boundaries we build to protect our soft selves, beautiful in their existence and ready to rupture.
Teeth, lips and tongue are slowed, their intricate machinery revealed as crisp foods are rendered supple. Through the mouth, we learn that hard creates the possibility for soft.
